Calling My Energy Back: How I’m Setting the Tone for My Year

This year, I’m doubling down on one theme: calling my energy back and putting it to work for my greatest and highest good. Hist the title, Intentional Living Starts Here. I’ve realized something important—there may not be a lot of hours in the day, but when I manage my time with intention, there’s nothing I can’t accomplish. So I’m sharing the things I’m doing to stay aligned, motivated, and full of positive energy, in hopes that it inspires you to do the same.

Starting With Adornments That Hold Meaning

If you know me, you know I love a good piece of jewelry. There’s something powerful about decorating your temple with intention. This year, I started with a caged tiger’s eye piece.

I chose tiger’s eye because I wanted to call in:

  • More opportunities
  • Abundance
  • Courage
  • Financial stability
  • Protection
  • Confidence

As a former people pleaser, setting boundaries has been one of the most healing things I’ve ever done for my inner child. Tiger’s eye felt like the perfect stone to support that continued growth.

I also added two new strands of waist beads:

  • Green for abundance — because we all deserve swoll pockets
  • A dark multicolor strand for confidence — a reminder to stand tall and rooted

These adornments aren’t just accessories; they’re energetic anchors.

Staying Consistent With the Gym

Another major focus for me this year is keeping up with my gym routine. When I’m consistent in the gym, everything else falls into place. I eat better, I feel better, and I show up better.

Last year, the gym did wonders for my mental health. It gave me clarity and peace of mind, which made it easier to make decisions that actually aligned with the life I’m building. As I continue to rebuild, I’m genuinely proud of the choices I’ve made. The gym has become a nonnegotiable part of my self-care.

Cleansing My Energy Regularly

Because I work with so many different people and energies, cleansing is essential for me. Keeping my hair wrapped and cleansing often helps me keep their energy over there so I can stay focused over here.

Maintaining my energy is how I manifest what I need and want. It’s how I stay grounded, protected, and aligned. Cleansing isn’t optional for me—it’s a lifestyle.

Making This Year What I Want It to Be

This year will be exactly what we make it. I’m committed to showing up as my best self because I’ve seen what happens when I do. Things open up. Life gets lighter. Opportunities flow.

Since intentional living is the goal, I’m choosing to keep my energy sacred, my intentions clear, and my actions aligned.

Now I’m curious—what are you doing this year to make the most of it?
