4 Reasons Why Communication is Everything

Communication is everything! It is one of the most important things in a healthy relationship. You can get a lot of things resolved from having a good ole sit and chat. Although, talking about important issues can be hard, it’s necessary. Especially when it comes to dealing with the people that we love. That’s why having good communication with your partner is so crucial. It makes those heavy topics easier to bring up. I can’t say that good communication has always been my strong suit. I mean I can, but I would be lying so hard and I rather not start our friendship like that. These are 4 reasons why communication is everything.

LEARN YOUR PARTNER. When you talk to your partner you begin to learn the person you’re with. You start to see how they view the world around them. Which is important to your relationship. You need to know the person that you are waking up to every morning, above all. Knowing who your partner is certainly makes or breaks a relationship. The more you talk to your partner the better you get to know them. The better you get to know them determines rather or not you want to be with them.

LOVERS AND FRIENDS. As you talk and have good conversations, you start to become friends. Which is amazing! When you’re in a relationship with someone, you’re sharing a lot of your time and space with them. So, you want to be able to lean over and tell them any and everything with out feeling uncomfortable. Having good communication with the one you love turns that person into your best friend. Making it easier to problem solve together and strengthen your relationship.

TEACH EACH OTHER. When you are in a relationship together you have to learn how to treat each other. You learn what they do and do not like, and they do the same for you. You must teach them how you want to be treated. They learn how to approach you on issues, how to make you laugh and what puts a smile on your face. You can teach each other anything honestly. For example, my man is really good at math. I am not and have never been. Whenever I am having a hard time in the subject, he is the first person I contact for help. I am a graphic designer and am now showing him how to use the Abode Creative Suite. We feel comfortable showing each other ropes because we love each other and know that one won’t judge the other.

GROW TOGETHER. Through learning each other, becoming friends, and teaching each other, you grow together. You grow for yourself and for your relationship. This can only make you better You are supposed to grow in a relationship and become the best version of you. As your relationship progresses you will start to see a change from the beginning to current. You want to see possible changes that make you both happy. That’s how you know it’s going in the right direction.

Talking to each and having good communication is everything. The more you talk to a person the more you get to know them. That’s important. The last you want is to look up and wonder “who is the world am I lying next to?” So, start talking! When you do remember these 4 reasons why communication is everything.
