CHAMOMILE. Chamomile tea is a good one. It is one of the teas that I grab for when I need to relax. Well beside helping with anxiety, it is also good for stomach problems. Such as nausea, diarrhea and cramps. It also helps to induce labor, treat acid reflux, relive a sore throat and so much more.

PEPPERMINT. Peppermint is also a fav of mine. It is one of my favorite calming teas, but that’s not all its good for. Peppermint tea is great for cold and flu, indigestion, and dental care. It is also a great addition to your weight loss journey, as it acts as an appetite suppressant. It can help with memory lost, since the mint leaf increases alertness.

HIBISCUS. I love the smell of hibiscus tea. Hibiscus is an antioxidant. Just like peppermint tea it is also good for a sore throat. Another thing that this tea and peppermint have in common is dental care. Hibiscus is good for the gums. It also helps to reduce high blood pressure. How amazing that a tea can do that?

LEMONGRASS. The smell of lemongrass always smells so calming to me. Lemongrass is also a calming tea. It also helps you with bloating, headaches, and exhaustion. So, I guess this would be a good tea to start the day with. Get some healing in the morning!

DANDELION. Dandelion is an amazing tea. Did you know that drinking dandelion tea can help with hepatitis, jaundice, and dyspepsia? Who knew a little herb could do all of that? It can also help with the formation of kidney stones.

ROOIBOS. Last but not least is Rooibos tea. I thought I would share this one because it has cancer-fighting properties. With so many chemicals that come with such a horrible disease maybe this herb can help the body in the fight against cancer, with less harm to the body. It also helps with skin irritations.

  1. The only time I drink tea is when I need some form of herbal medicine. And I am quite familiar with these. Oddly, my favourite tea is strawberry and mango. Not sure if that does anything medicinal but sure tastes good!

  2. I love these teas… but I admit, when I need a “cup of tea”… I LOVE a good strong black tea, no flavours. Just that feeling of “comfort food” – put the kettle on and everything will be alright in the world.
