Bright Colors. Rather it is wearing them or set them as your phone lock screen, bright colors can have a positive effect on your mood. Color therapy is an amazing thing because it utilizes something so simple to improve your day by day. Bright colors scream happy. They can also affect memories and reactions. Try wearing pink or yellow when dealing with a sour mood to promote cheerfulness.

Looking at Happy Things. Looking at something that puts a smile on your face will distract you from how you’re feeling. I love to look at colorful Instagram pages and YouTube channels. For example, I have two influencers that I subscribed to just because looking at their content makes me happy.

Being Productive. When I am feeling sour, I love to throw myself into my work. Focusing all my energy into something positive makes me forget about what was bothering me in the first place. Plus, there is nothing like the feeling of getting a little farther into your passion.

Treating Yourself. Taking a break from the world can be just what you need to get your thoughts and feelings together. Treating yourself to a milkshake on your lunch break can help you feel better. Food therapy, yum! Treating yourself no matter what it feels so lux who could stay upset? Rather you treat yourself to something good to eat or just treat yourself to a few minutes alone, it can help you turn your day around.

Using these 4 ways to rid yourself of sour mood things has helped me get through so rough days. I got through the day and focused my energy on having an even better tomorrow. For more on keeping it positive check out 4 Ways to Eliminate Negative Thoughts.
