It’s important to have some relaxation time. Some people think that in order to relax you have to spend extra money. That’s not the case. You can keep it pocket friendly while trying to relax. If you are like me and you have a budget to keep, here are 4 ways to relax without spending money.
Bathing. Taking a nice bath is relaxing. The warm water is calming and relaxes the muscles. You can add a few things to enhance your experience. For example, adding some essential oils to your bath water with some Epsom salt. This will soothe soreness and relax your body. Also, the stream from the water is great for your pores and hair. As you remove all the body soil and stress from yourself you start to feel at ease.
Nothing. Doing a whole lot of nothing afterlife activities have worn you out does a world of good. I used to feel so unproductive when I didn’t do something on my day off. Doing nothing is the most productive thing you can do for your body sometimes because your human parts are fragile. Giving them a day off from the madness of life is a good thing. You need to allow yourself time to heal and recharge. So, surround yourself with fluffy pillows, grab your fully charged tablet, sink into your bed, and enjoy. When you work hard doing nothing feels like EVERYTHING.
Binge Watching. This is my favorite thing. On days I have off and not much to do, I like to sit in my cleanroom, grab a snack, and watch everything I missed out on. This is great after a hot bath. Clean skin on clean sheets is so relaxing for me. Especially while catching up on your shows.
Home Spa. When you look good you feel good. On the way to looking and feeling good, you’re gonna look a little crazy. At least I do because when I think of a home spa, I think face mask, hair mask, Mani, Pedi, plucking eyebrows, and all the above. Taking the time to put some energy into yourself feels amazing. You work hard and you deserve it. Plus doing it all at home saves you a lot of cash.
Relaxing does not have to cost you. Spending a bunch of money, you don’t have is only going to cause you more stress. The next time you have time to yourself try these 4 ways to relax without spending money. Do you like relaxing at home? How do you relax? What’s your thought process?
