It is hard to be positive 24/7 365. Everyone has a breaking point. Every day won’t be a great day and that’s okay. That’s just life, in short. Don’t let it defeat you. You must keep those negative thoughts at bay. The more you think negatively the more negativity you will attract into your life. Since we definitely don’t want that, here are 4 ways to eliminate negative thoughts.
Friends. A friend is a great way to keep your mind out of negative space. To have someone by your side to go through the good and the bad with a laugh and a gallon of ice cream, makes you feel like maybe you can get through the b.s. These people aren’t always easy to find but when you do, they make the bad times not seem so bad.
Hobbies. Keeping yourself busy is a great way to keep your mind occupied. If you are either in or feel a bad mood brewing, try redirecting that energy into your favorite hobby. If you are a painter or an artist of some sort work on your craft. Art is a great emotional outlet for me. It is an amazing feeling to let your emotions explode on your canvas of choice.
Disconnect. A great way to eliminate negative thoughts is to take a moment and turn off the world. Taking the time to tune out everything and recharge can be very beneficial, above all. Give yourself some time. Turn off your phone, sit in the tub, and drink some warm tea. Do a face mask, deep condition your hair, give yourself a foot rub, or anything that you don’t normally do. Because you deserve your own undivided attention sometimes.
Rant. Scream it out. It really does make you feel better. If you can’t find a friend to provide a listening ear, then talk to yourself. Rather it is out loud or in your journal, get it out. Journaling is a great way to get out of your feelings without having to wait for someone to listen or letting the wrong people into your business also.
In conclusion, these are a few things that have helped me keep the negative thoughts at bay. When you think positive thoughts, positive things come to you. So, try these 4 ways to eliminate negative thoughts and manifest positivity. For more Thought Process check out 3 Signs of an Unhealthy Relationship.
